This
new miracle enzyme called Co-Enzyme
Q-10 may be a major breakthrough in
the treatment of coronary artery disease, angina
pectoris and may reverse the aging process.
Here are some of the reasons for the popularity
of Co-Enzyme Q-10: ongoing
studies in Japan, the Soviet Union, Europe and,
recently, the USA, have shown that Co-Enzyme
Q-10 increases the ability of the heart
cells to produce energy, making them less vulnerable
to damage caused by anoxia (oxygen deprivation).
Many people have reported a major increase in
energy after taking Co-Enzyme Q-10.
According to researchers at Hamamatsu University’s
Department of Internal Medicine, Japan, as we
age, the normal levels of Co-Enzyme
Q-10 in the body begin to drop due
to the body’s inability to extract enough
Co-Enzyme Q-10 from our food.
As these levels decline, health problems appear
– yet many of these problems can be reversed
with supplements of this nutritionally vital
coenzyme. Since cellular Co-Enzyme Q-10
declines with age, it may play a significant
role in the aging process.
A six-year study at the University of Texas
found a 75% three-year survival rate among congestive
heart failure patients who took Co-Enzyme
Q-10 with their conventional therapy.
This compares with a 25% survival rate for those
receiving only traditional therapy.
According to other researchers, Co-Enzyme
Q-10 is being considered in the treatment
of many other diseases such as revitalizing
the muscles of muscular dystrophy victims, lowering
high blood pressure, helping to strengthen a
weak immune system, and is critical to the body’s
ability to extract energy from the food one
eats. While more research will be done, it is
already evident that Co-Enzyme Q-10
is on the way to being accepted as an effective
new supplement to other more traditional medical
therapies.
Co-Enzyme Q-10 has been shown
to be effective in the following ways:
1. Strengthening the heart
2. Lowering blood pressure
3. Increasing energy levels
4. Overall rejuvenating effect on the body
5. Weight loss.
